Our Team
Ryan Shepherd
Ryan Shepherd serves as Chief Executive Officer at Victory Lane Aviation. Ryan has a vast cultural background, having been born in Canada and raised in Greece. From a young age, Ryan knew he wanted to be involved in aviation, so he came to the United States to receive a BS Degree in Aviation Maintenance and Management from Liberty University’s School of Aeronautics.
After graduating, Ryan started his career as an aircraft maintenance technician. This led to a decade of experience in 24/7 emergency AOG maintenance and management in scenarios of needing to spontaneously get aircrafts back up and flying within short timelines. As his diligent career grew, so did his lifelong passion for Aviation—along with an idea.
Seeing the lack of quality aircraft maintenance support in the industry, specifically within the greater Charlotte area, Ryan joined Victory Lane Aviation to embrace the opportunity and challenges that would come. 3 years later, the company continues to double in size! Ryan is also a certified aircraft mechanic and pilot, always seeking to learn more. He keeps his skills sharp by flying regularly and repairing various aircrafts when needed.
“New planes and technology come out every day! The moment we think we know it all in this industry is the moment we should resign. This is one of the fastest-growing industries, evident through the modernized reliance on air travel for business. We will always continue to adapt, support, and grow here at Victory Lane Aviation.”
